Not that we ever need an excuse to ride, but come out and join us for our first Warrior Benefit Ride. This joint ride goes to help NoMi Leatherneck in their mission to help veteran families and 22 2 NONE in their mission to combat veteran suicide.
We will be riding on M72, through Cedar to M22, up to Northport where we will be making a stop, and then back to Traverse City at the departure site (VFW Cherryland Post 2780).
Riders $20, Passengers $10
There will be door prizes as well.
After finally contacting The Tribune : Ice Cream & Eatery in Northport and talking with Kelly, to give her a heads up we would be stopping in. She said they are just a small place and can really only accommodate around 50 people, but I thought there are plenty of other spots to grab a bite, and maybe some won't care to eat. We will park at the marina and have roughly am hour before getting wheels up to head back to the VFW. First pic is the route up, it will run up through Cedar to M22. And the second pic is the route back down M22.
We hope to see a bunch of bikes out in support of our local Veterans.
