22 2 None’s Outdoor Venture Program (OVP) presents a weekend whitetail hunt at Marsh Mountain Pathway in Mesick, MI. We are able to take up to 4 vets per morning and afternoon slot - you choose which slot. Limited space available, this is a free event.
What to bring:
ID, hunting licenses, warm clothing & boots, blaze orange (limited supply can be provided), backpack for snacks and beverages, daily medications, and any legal firearm and ammo for hunting.
Overnight gear for those spending the night: sleeping bag or warm blankets, basic toiletries, daily medications. There are no showers! Field hygiene implied.
Your OVP teammates and guides will assist with tracking, field dressing, and hauling your harvest out of the field as well as with quartering or securing it to your vehicle. We will also provide you with a list of local processors (with hopes of veteran discounts).
For safety reasons, all firearms will be trigger locked or breech secured and unloaded within the lodging area, inspected by your OVP teammate, then secured in the trunk of your vehicle when not in the field.
Morning Hunt Details/Schedule:
Morning hunts will require an overnight stay at our onsite cabin with the OVP team and guides. You can choose to hunt the morning of November 19 or 20th. Plan to arrive the evening before between 1700-1900 (Nov. 18 or 19). Dinner will be provided. There will be an army cot or air mattress provided.

Afternoon Hunt Details/Schedule:
Afternoon hunters need to arrive by 1300 the day of the hunt. If you would like to join us for lunch, please arrive at Noon, however we will be providing you with a pack meal and snacks for the afternoon.
